And there it is. Some back yarder may be able to find a insane motor in a junk yard in a wrecked car or however everyone finds motors on the cheap. They just quickly becomes to much to bother with (like dropping 10 grand on a exhaust) when its a unknown if it will work in the first place. Could you imagine spending all that money just to find out the motor was a dog in a boat? I was a Chrysler guy for years in a boat that I have had for 20 years. After killing like 6 motors in 7 years I sold the parts off for the Chrysler and made enough money back to build a pretty stout BBC. Now after many upgrades it became a Mark IV 4 bolt stroked and rollered 496. Never could have done that on my budget with Chrysler and never would have found exhaust for it anyway.
