Default anybody know what the diff is between the 250,300,350 verados

I'm looking to buy a pair after the first of the year. I read you can remap the. For a significant hp gain.
Was wondering if these engines use the same blowers in all three thx for any info rm

All verados are mechanically identical until the 350 and 400 came out. The 350 and 400 have new blower cases and some fuel system changes I think.

The old merc racing 350sci is identical to all the old engines, any verado can be turned up to 335ish hp.

yes just remapped. Gen 1 lowers could fail, I'm not sure what year it was fixed. I've heard the better ones referred to as HD

You want the 5.44 gear set. The smaller one is for bass boats and pontoons. They used to offer both on the 300s, but the 350 just offered the 5.44. Looks like on the spec sheet the 300s may be doing the same now. 3-4 years ago the 300s were offered with both.
