I can remember years ago in a conversation with Wayne when he said "I will never build an open bow". A few years later his mid opens were out selling the cuddys. Now his CCs are a huge success. Best of luck to them on this model. And maybe he will get feedback from it that there is also a market for a cuddy version. What would be really cool is to bring back the lines of the original dominator with some 400Rs hanging off the back. Just think of all that extra space that empty engine compartment would make! :D

Plenty of room to shove the women down there when they start complaining you're going too fast/catching too much air. :poopoo:

Layout of some of these large bowriders much better than most CC's - obviously my opnion. We have a 32ft Formula bowrider in the family and like it way more for our type boating / area / etc than a CC. walking thru the middle leaves bunch more area for seating and etc vs being able to toally walk around both sides.

Plus a CC makes you look like a cop..

Has pricing been established yet?

Sure if you are out on a lake but if you are anywhere near the ocean everyone has CC's!

Depending on how they mount the OB's you may see older Dominator owners simply adding a bracket and turning their I/O stuff into OB's. Being that the step in the older Dominator really wasn't a full step I would think the only concern is getting the boat to ride on the pad.

The open cockpit walk through is nice but I think the mid cabin would nail it perfectly. I'll have to wait to see what the T-Top is going to look like, Terry formerly of NT told me they struggled with making a good looking top for their Monte Carlo series boats as buyers wanted shade but the T-Tops looked "off"

I think its great, The seating differce between a CC and and a Dual console is big, lots more people use. When I was at the Lauderdale show the 29' Regal, Formula, all had a nice outboard set up/

Cool idea, but not a "sellable" concept IMO.
Trying to hang on to the offshore style boat is a waste of time. It had its hey-day, but everything has changed and those days are drying up, if not gone completely. Simply look at what is actually selling and you have the answer.
Q - how's the AT open bow selling? That should be a good indicator of that market as they build a nice looking boat.

Looks like they're following Active Thunder's direction in sportboats.

BUT, are they selling? I don't see it.
