That is Aaron. I'm sure that is Nick also, but I admit, that doesn't really look like him. On the other hand, there are some mornings that I don't look like me.
You have to admit, Nick Carter has been pretty good for offshore racing this last year regardless of what sanctioning body you race for. Face it, the kid is pretty much on the ball considering all the wealth and fame thrown at him, (along with all the ladies underwear). I'm not sure how well I would have handled all that at his age, and I don't think anyone can blame him for having some fun with his money. It's sad to hear that talent agencies &/or management agencies seem to be bleeding him dry.
Not sure what DJD's thing was all about, but that instance seems way out of the ordinary from what I've seen. In fact, it's been interesting watching Nic Carter and Aaron around the pits and other race teams. The Daytona pic reminded me of watching Nick in the pits with the Herbott Scarab "Racing for a Cure" team. I'm not sure who the kids were, (some very young), but I was thinking they had something to do with Herbotts sponsor. Nick took his time and was talking with the kids and adults alike. Good PR no matter how you slice it.
Nick Carter brings an audience to the sport. Enjoy it. Hell, take advantage of it. But why would anyone bag on him for it?
Rather than cut the guy down, or second guess his lifestyle, maybe we could just accept him and his family as part of the racing gang. After all, we're throwing money into the sport, (read; "away") just like he is, and it's not like some of us would be considered normal by other peoples standards.
Just my thoughts. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...
