We have dealt with the owner and his staff and would not hesitate to buy from them. They were always professional and helpfully when we were looking to upgrade. This started back in 2005 when we were looking for a Baja 30 Outlaw with 496Hos. They are in Wisconsin.

Bought an 05 353 525 boat from them in 2013. Andy is a straight shooter, gave me all the facts and history of the boat. I had them install factory A/C and Bimini and the workmanship was very good. I also had a highly recommended local do the survey at Shipyards storage and it all worked out great. I bought the boat unseen in Dec and picked it up ready to go in April.
Might be needing one in the near future...

Ive had 2 experiences with them. The first one about 7years ago the salesman whose name I do not recall, was rude, treated us as if we were wasting his time. Every time I asked a question his answers were short, and answered as if I should know more of the boat/product. After we left there my wife said we would never go back there because of this. 1 month later we bought our fountain from shogrens. No matter how many boats I showed her at shipyard through out the last 7years as we have thought about upgrading numerous times she kept refusing to go there because of the 1st experience, no matter how much she loved the boat in pics.
I was finally able to talk her into looking at a formula ss they have there this summer. The salesman we spoke with this visit was named Chad. He was very helpful, spent almost 2 hours showing us the 2 different ss's they had, very knowledgeable about the boats/history's etc. He treated us as if we were buying a brand new, most expensive thing there even though we had explained to him we were just starting to look at what we would like next and had no intention of actually buying either boat. Our experience in dealing with chad had changed our outlook on shipyard and we will now happily return there when it is time for the next upgrade, just have to upgrade my garage doors to fit an ss through them first!
