Great write up Matt. We attended the "Toy Tour" last year for the first time. We were unable to attend this year do to work obligations...very sad.. I have become very good friends with Rus over the past few years. He is the "perfect gentlemen"...the man places everyone else's needs before his own. For those of you that know Rus, we all know he is in a real fight for health. We all need to pray for him and his family. Myself, my wife and our entire crew will do whatever we can to make sure this event never stops. These kids need us and Rus deserves this event to continue for years to come. I hope that those closest to Rus and local to this area will allow us to assist in the organizing of this event.....we are completely committed to it.

Our first year at the run and I was surprised at the turnout Saturday. To say it was cold is an understatement. We talked with Russ Friday at the lunch stop and had dinner with him later. Great guy.

Putnam county police did a great job at the toy drop off, there were so many we didn't have to worry about hitting the dock with all the wind.
