Just spoke with the fountain factory and you won't be able to watch the kilo from there nor will they be scheduling any tours during that week. Just an FYI.

Also does anyone know where else is a public area to see it?

There is a ramp on the other side of the river. It's a good place to put a boat in but doubt you will be able to see anything from there. You will need to be on the water to see it as there are no good public places to see that section of water.

They turned wichards beach into a gated subdivision. I'm not saying you can't get in there but every time I drive by the gate is closed. It appears to be a gate that requires a remote of some sorts to get in. I'm going to try to go out there VIA center console. I would offer you a ride but I'm not committed enough to know that I will make it. I would hate for you to travel all that way and me not be able to make the event. Then I would be that a** hole

What is the reason for pushing the pace on getting it to the river? Does the window of opportunity close the closer we get to spring / summer? Wanting to catch cool weather and cool water? Minimal crap in the water this time of year? Water level? Marketing push going in to the spring boat buying season? All of the above? None of the above?

I know nothing of the river they're making these passes on and if the venue is the reason for such a compressed schedule. Maybe it's not compressed...... not like they have to pick interior colors or anything !!

They want to go to Miami with the title. I agree, that would create a lot of buzz from a promotional and marketing standpoint at the boat show.

I would be surprised if they don't have the boat on display in Miami.

Poker Runs America reported yesterday (https://pokerrunsamerica.com/roberts...ampaign=buffer) that Ben Robertson will run the boat by himself. I confirmed this today with Reggie Fountain, Jr., who is heading up the kilo boat project.
