Why Print Rocks

There’s still special something about paper magazines, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...hy-print-rocks.

From the OSO home page.

Its the way it smells when you first open it. Its also easier than lugging a laptop or tablet around with you (I can't see the phone). You never have to "charge" (as in power charge) a magazine. And, well........... has anybody noticed how good it smells when you open it?

And—no matter how fast your Internet connection is, thumbing through a print magazine to find a story is still faster.

Not to mention you can’t leave your laptop laying around in the shop bathroom.....

.

I already spend too many hours of my day in front of a computer. An oversized speedboat magazine with boating stories is just the ticket to a well deserved break in my day.

Im to the point I need perfect light in order to read newspapers or magazines without glasses!

It looks like they still have 2016, but 2015 looks to be gone. Maybe Jason or Matt have a few stashed. I got both last year and can't wait to see 2017.

I don't work in a print shop and if I did I'd probably never go home. Just like resin. It just smells so f-ing good

You can still order 2016 online, https://www.speedonthewater.net/speedshop. We do have a few issues of 2015 left (same price as 2016—$20) though they're not sold online at this point. Reach out to me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to make it happen. Just order two issues of 2016 and I'll replace one with a 2015 edition.

Smells like MONEY!
(That's what a farmer told me years ago when I complained about the "chunky fertilizer" they slog on the fields.)

**Just don't get caught printing money!!

I KNOW! I KNOW! (sitting in the back row waiving wildly). Technology!! Now you can print a rock on a 3-d printer in a couple of hours. If you wait for one to form naturally, it could take years!! (sitting back with arms crossed in total confidence/slight grin)

I'M WITH YA TANK

I only buy paper as I can't/won't take a tablet etc. in the spa which I bask in nightly.

My first reaction was why print them when you can walk outside and pick them up..:drink:

Maybe Matt should go with "Why "Print" ROCKS!"

I guess if they can 3-D print parts, they can 3-D print rocks. :)
