How long are you staying there Jeff ? I'll be down in a few weeks. My condo is in boynton at marina village where the 2 george restaurant is.

Ft lauderdale police were kind enough to inform me that it is minimum wake, and under 25 mph anywhere in the icw from November to April 14th, except for the idle no wake zones.

Most boat don t plane at 25 mph... easier to say idle zone then...

Pontoon boats and stuff like that, pretty much in those areas you can run up to 25 mph as long as the wake is less than 15" big pia

2nd that one. It's a looooong ride from Hollywood to Miami. Did it once by choice, then once when we lost a motor, after you do it once, you'll probably not want to do it again. Good sight seeing though.

Also, stayed at Miami beach marina for new years, that place is pretty cool, you can rent bikes and tool around the island/South Beach.
