I e asked my new best pal SecondWind to post more pics. It’s pretty simple really. Aluminum track, a carriage with bunks to fit the boat and a big ass winch to pull it in.
I purchased one and built the other two. At the door there is a short hinged section that flips up out of the way to allow the door to close tight to the tile.
There is also hinges at the edge of the concrete pad to pull the track up out of the lake.
The cables act like a suspension bridge from the tower
I have another winch I move from railway to railway to pull them up.
We used to pull it apart and store on the pad. “Towering “ the docks and railway extends my boating season and I can do it myself. My boys work and have farms. They have no time to help.
Everything is aluminum or stainless steel.

Yup. Fenelon Falls. Live on the west side of the lake directly across from town.
Born and raised in Oshawa rest of the time US, Port Perry and Fenelon.
Traveled all over North America. Quite happy to live in the Kawarthas and go boating.
