Hey everyone, I am headed to Miami to learn a bit more about the offshore, go-fast powerboat scene for development of a private high-speed launch service within South Florida, the Keys, and the Bahamas. I am an experienced mariner, with an unlimited mates license, 1600 ton master's license, and plenty of experience operating all kinds of boats from high-performance sailing dinghies to 1,000 ft ships.
What I have no experience in is the world of offshore powerboats. Luckily for me, I'm pretty good at realizing my strengths and weaknesses and when I am in over my head - which would be why I am headed to the show this weekend to learn. Anyways, could I entice anyone for a beverage tomorrow or Sunday to rack your brain? I promise to keep the drinks flowing and to show my thanks as this concept moves forward
Hopefully see someone soon!
