Bow hatch reconfiguration.
Got to have two to flow proper like while staying on the boat.
The old/orig hatch was a PIA to operate and had been painted so allowed no light to cabin.
90% the wife is on hatch duty.
If it ain’t easy, and smooth, she won’t do it.
So main hatch is now quality Bomar/e-Bay unit and do is second, added hatch.
Another instance of rock solid, 34 yr old balsa core.
Say what you want about Checkmates but I ain’t found no rot yet.

Thx Cary.
I know on timing...
Im burning out but trying my old trick of switching tasks to keep it interesting.
As I sold of the I/O pts, I bought supplies for the project, to be installed later.
Im to the point on the bracket to where I need about 3 days of gonzo glass slinging. You have two days to overlay glass for it to be a chemical bond and not just mechanical as it would be after 2 days.
So I dont want to start until having a 3 day window and w/the weather, and having to keep the shop warm to cure the glass.
Treated myself to a break yesterday and titled/licensed my new from Fla scooter.
Being an out of state title t.fer it has to be inspected.
So I either strap it on a trailer and tow it there, or........ pull my old, expired ('2013) Fla bike tag off the wall of the shop and update it w/a marker.
I chose the latter.
Was a balmy 42* here yesterday!
Has been a buuuunnnnccchh of yrs since I dressed for cold weather riding.
What a hoot!

Nice to have a break to get remotivated... Good thing we have some off season down time to work on our boats. All you need is a heated garage. I'm so blessed to have just that at my house to get all the rigging done.
