Next screen, scroll down to Thread Display Options then Infinite Scroll and hit "Disable".
Dont forget to "Save Changes".

I got some text to appear above a photo by writing the text then hit "return" to start a new line then added a photo. It's kinda dodgey but I think it works on my iPad.
