Tell him not only does 40k not buy the boat but now the lowest price you can do is 53k!!!

Most the time these kind of people are really unsure of their purchase, and they are always wondering if they got "the Best Deal" play him a little and say how he messed up the Best Deal and Don't budge off of 53k for your bottom dollar!!! at least not for him!!!

DJD, I think you should either get a deposit in advance next time from anyone wanting you to unwrap the boat to sea test, or take the big hints the UNIVERSE is throwing your way and KEEP THE CIGARETTE! Hell, I'll run it for you every once in awhile just to make sure it runs smoothly! What are friends for?????

Besides, do you really want to get rid of the cabin that holds so many wild and crazy (some might say outright scary) memories of your youthful years from what I've heard????

DJD, we need to keep in touch. If I can sell a few things I'll be in good shape to buy a 38, which is just what we're looking for. Dave

Try working as a Broker!!! I have that happen at least three times per week. 100 in the door, 10 to the desk, 5 checks clear, 1 buys. And people still ask "Why should I use a broker?" Its simple. So YOU dont learn to hate your fellow man. Hang in there and take 10% of the offered price before you even turn the key. If you are taking the boat to FL, Call Phil at Lip-Ship and ask him to Broker your boat. He is a stand up guy and buyers believe what he says. Plus he is a Hard Ass when it comes to the 10% rule and you have to respect that. If the boat was on the Left coast Iwould help you in a heart beat. But considering you are going to the other land of Sun and Sin, talk to Phil.
