Default On board engine alarm test

I have a 2001 advantage with a 454 mag efi. I have never hear the beeping sound when key is turned on. I lost a impeller last season and no alarm sounded when my temp got warm . Is there a way to tell if my boat even has a alarm . What does it look like where is it located ?????
Thx

I'm pretty sure that you'd have the same setup as I have on a 2000 502mag
There's a small buzzer horn wired into the harness under the dash . Mine went silent a few years ago and I put in a new one . The old one tipped me off that it had gone kaput because I was no longer getting the check beeps when turning the ignition on .
