With its 32 CCX a runaway hit and a 39-foot version coming this summer, life is good for the Schaldenbrand brothers and company, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...ered-salvation.

A theme everyone discussed several years ago. I never thought it would get this far, but it has. Reminds me a little of the Open Concept in homes .
They are more limited for sure, at some point, I can see a return to more versatile craft. The trouble with the sportboats was obviously the dollars involved, the headaches. Same in the recreational market where bowriders took over, even amongst larger boats. They're more day boats, and can be pretty darn uncomfortable given some of the seating setups.

Matt, story needs a little correction: ' According to Wayne Schaldenbrand, who owns the company with his brother, Wayne, and partners Jared Morris and Kyle Miller, '
I remember being at a Sunsation rally in the early 2000's and Wayne saying he'd never build an open bow boat. A year or two later their MCOB overtook sales of their closed deck boats.
