They did a nice tribute to Keith Holmes on the 1st day. I was there patrolling the race in St. Clair when the accident happened. I among other boats had the unfortunate duty of cleaning up the debris. I had never met Keith, but have always enjoyed seeing him run Cat Can Do and Cleveland Construction. He was a fan favorite in St. Clair. I was happy to see the tribute to him during the broadcast. We will miss you Keith.

Keith was the first person I met in offshore.
Me and my wife accidently got pass the guard into the crane area in keywest.
Keith,s boat was just inside the fence on the wall in the water,
He saw us and said come aboard .We did.Wew took off our shoes
And I sat in the throttle side and my wife in the drivers side.I remember thinking what a liong distance between us,
The skater was called BIO KLEEN with baker engines.
I remember the engines because the builder was standing there as well. His name was ( john or jack jervosick ??or something like that )
Anyway Between him and keith they spent 45 minutes with us.
Then he introduced us to barry glovick ? I think was his name .he was waxing the deck.
Beautifull boat Great memory ,of a true champion racer .
Thanx for the intro into this sport.
