Our 340 with trip 300Rs has seen 77.4mph so far. Love the power package. Incredible mid range torque - fully pushes you back in seats between 30 and 60mph. Great sound during acceleration and cruise and nearly silent at idle unless you flip the sport exhaust toggle when you get a really nice V8 rumble.

nice performance on the 300r. i ordered with 400s. then nortech said can't get them. said 300r. instead. then in rigging 400s came in. just got the boat beginning of april. 9 months late. lol. 400 are great also. not the power the 300r have. factory top end was 84.4. no seats 4 people limited fuel. i can get 81 had 6 people and little over half fuel plus all the junk. lol.

what year are your 300R's? I have one that I purchased late in 2019 and the exhaust is not switchable on mine, and the manual never mentioned it was.

it’s a combination of hurricane season and theft risk. since you live close to Cuba and boats like this get stolen to mule Cubans back to the US.

You agent may cut you a big discount if you move the boat away for hurricane season.

Also rates are going up in general because so many idiots hit the water in the last 2 years and were filing lots of claims.

Use to be if your CC went over 70mph the insurance rates went up regardless of location, just filed Hurricane Plan and waiting for a quote with boat coming down from LOTO to spend from Oct to April on the gulf side. My boat will be in a CAT 4 building a couple miles off the coast, I would assume if your on a lift closer to where landfall in a H-cane would be it would be much more...........................$6800 is a chunk of change for boat ins, insane !!!

it was a shock to me also. many quotes were way higher. i have it on a lift. on a canal. it's crazy.

I used to move my boat back and forth as described and the insurance was cheap. Statefarm doesn’t write any new policies on boats over 28’ though.

All of my recent insurance inquiries were asking if the boat could go over 75mph.
