Friday night we are leaving St. Louis to meet the boat seller half way. The halfway point is Cleveland, can someone tell us a good spot to easily get off the highway grab a cheap hotel and be able to park a truck and boat? The seller is coming from New Hampshire.

I'm assuming you'll be heading up on 77 to 71 ..... take 271 to 90 East to the rte. 306 exit in Mentor. Turn right off the ramp and take your pick...... this will also be easy for the other guy to find coming in on 90 from NH.
Good Luck!!!!!

i am originaly from the cleveland area. the west side of cleveland off of interstate 90 in the westlake area has a lot of motels and eats. get off at crocker basset and you have your choice. holiday inn, knights inn , sleepinn. go east one more exit and you have a cross country and a couple more. if you want to get more east you have to go about 30 miles more to get past the downtown area and the rough parts. but from westlake , ohio west back to the turnpike you have alot of choices,

Out of colombus you'll take 71 north to 271 to 77 north. Exit at rockside rd. marker 155. The city is independance, and it is about 5 miles south of downtown cleveland. I drive by this intersection every day and by memory there is Residence inn by marriott, courtyard by marriott, sheraton fourpoints, red roof inn, hilton, embasst suites, holiday inn, hampton, all at this intersection.
