Sounds like you love your boat and it fits perfectly so keep enjoying it.

60K for a clean 45 Sonic!? Am I missing something or is that on the cheap side? Yes RR, there are ALOT of boats for sale BUT...VERY few that are CLEAN and well maintained it seems. Especially in that 60k range.

Yeah I do agree with you, it sounds like a lot of boat for the money but I really have no clue. Just going by the OP's reaction I figured it might not be far off the mark.

Anyway, his problem is solved....

I need to have it surveyed in may anyways for insurance. and when surfing internet, looks like they is nothing under pretty much 100k not to say many in 115-130k
wich pleases me but I think it is way over priced!

Sorry, just realized old thread with new question. Hard to say. I've seen some rough triple engine boats in the $40-60K range, which I'd venture to say would need $50K+ to make them in the same condition as a well maintained one that is not for sale. I'd estimate $85-120K assuming it was in turn key good condition with only minor wear and tear. If there is more than one problem I'd start subtracting the cost to fix.

No reason to sell if you still enjoy it and can afford it. I would be a little concerned about keeping for another 10 years as a 30 year old boat with triples is a hard sell.

Not sure if this boat is still for sale, but it's been listed for a LOOOOOONG time 50' Pluckebaum Performance - Pluckebaum and I always thought it was a great platform with the aluminum hull, 50ft I think it ran upper 60's with twin 575's. If I had your budget and needs I think something like this would be worth upgrading too.

Heard of Pluckebaum houseboats for years, never ever knew they made something like that in the link.
Anyhow OP GLWS if you do sell.

the real number your boat is worth is how much you figure it'll take to rebuild the cat, the money you save on fuel during the cat rebuild will pay for the incidentals that pop up along the way !
