this is my 2004 Powerquest with a radar arch. I love having it not just for looks, but for also for shade, speakers and electronics.

Still waiting to see a go fast with a welded radar arch. Has nobody done this?

Now without the radar arch. That sonic would look like ****. With the arch it looks sick.

Yup as Jr. says Ive have had a "welded" removable radar arch on my Lavey Craft 2750 for about a decade now.

one of my all time favorite arches right there and your absolutly right the arch seems to make people want to hang on to it. Actually i've noticed they become sort of a social center of any raft off, so much so if i had one I'd mount drink cup holders right into the top of it lol :D

some day i will own a 30 Sonic SE with the arch, exact same paint scheme as yours but with the yellow accents.

They were the ideal place for the talent hang on to. All these sleek cats these days...the ladies just slip right off the transoms into the drink. Back in the day we called them Kling On Holders because the ladies could cling on to them without fear of going for an unexpected swim. :D https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c4571296cd.jpg

Are those just 2 poles connected by fabric that slide into some fittings on the arch? Thats really clean looking, i think i may like that even better than a bimini added onto the welded arch i'd like to get. I imagine that's just as quick or quicker to stow away, and probably tidier looking to just take them off than trying to get them wrapped up nicely every time you make a move. I suppose you could even have slots forward and back. And rear facing ones could be left up when driving, if you're not going too fast. How well do they work in practice?

Yes it is indeed simple - 2 mounts with 2 poles. Each mount has two holes so in theory you could have 1 set facing forward and 1 set facing rearward from the same mount. Depending on the t-top I think the preferred method is 4 mounts for 2 canopies.

They are not for running. The fabric could easily catch wind and slip away even though they have velcro anchors.

I simply keep the fabric rolled onto the poles and slip them into the mounts when I arrive and anchor. Takes a couple minutes max. One end of pole is slightly angled for better friction fit.

T-Top extender I believe they are called. There is a website. I’ve been very happy with it.
