They'd be at the top of my list even without a six

I looked at that hustler several times and was told that it sold...I have been looking at that apache for sale here the 33..I think it has konrads on it which I know nothing about

If I were to find say like a top gun or apache or even a hustler with 8-900 hp a side with imcos on it...would that be as worry free as 6's?? The next one I buy will have some kind of good drive platform first and foremost that's why I said 6's...but if there are other comparable setups that will be nearly as worry free I may consider it...I only have experience with loads of bravo failures being a seasoned boat mechanic but never had much experience with imcos or konrads or 6's...we didn't have those kinds of clients where I worked...I did work on one staggered apache with 6's but just general maintenance and it was so nice to work on it is what had me sold on staggered

This will be a general pleasure use boat with poker runs/fun runs mixed in if that changes anything??

Thanks for all the replies guys!!

Could also throw another monkey wrench into this...is there such a thing as right hand control conversions on fountains?? I'm not anti fountain as they are one of the most well known companies out there and their designs seem to be proven but that left hand control is where they lose me...also in say lake Michigan random 3-4's with a big chop in between will a fountain handle that like a cig or apache for instance??

Staggered #6s, right hand controls, under $100k. I've heard this boat is immaculate. Its a 42, but take away the beak and swim step...?

As far as the Donzi Zrcs go:

Only 2 Zrc's came out of the factory with #6 drives, both were 1075 boats (one 2 step and and one 4 step). There was one converted to #6 drives and a few built with or converted to Arnesons.

That said, a Bravo Zrc will handle 600+ HP and if you update them to Imco SCs, you are good to 800+.

With 600hp, you will see 100mph, 700hp = 110, 800hp = 120, etc. - My understanding is the 1075 boats ran 135 with room to go but became a handful any faster.
