That's good news, Matt, because Stuart Halley is a good guy! He hired me and I worked for him from 1996 to 1997 in Fond du Lac. That's when Mercury was getting ready to release their first Direct Injected 2-stroke "Optimax" engines and Stuart was heading up the 3.0 liter engine group. Those were stressful times because we were having a lot of failures with the first production engines, but Stuart maintained his cool and sense of humor through it all. He also had nicknames for everyone and some were pretty funny. I also remember during my job interview he basically asked me one question:" Imagine you're a air molecule above Lake Winnebago and a V6 Mercury outboard goes by and sucks you in. Describe your path and what happens to you as you go through the engine and are returned to the environment." It was a great question and I provided a long and somewhat humorous description which Stuart liked.
