looking at the slot that the cabin top hatch goes into, a carpenter, welder, or other fabricator
could make a step ladder that slides into the slot all the way forward with the legs being on the cockpit floor. this way the ladder leans forward and you have the consoles for support getting up and down polished, painted to match, non skid on the steps tig welded aluminum or stainless a t-top and or bolster base manufacturer could fab up something real nice 2002 Velocity 410 powerboat for sale in Ohio Used 2001 Velocity 410, Lackawanna, Ny - 14218 - BoatTrader.com |

Port side console (in front of the passenger) could you put 2 or 3 powder coated steps on the side next to the cabin entrance and another grab handle up on top of the port console? Whats behind the port console? Maybe a couple of molded inserts, like pockets. Can't think of the right name for them, I've seen them on lots of boats. Phragle's answer, although technically correct, he obviously hasn't seen my woman..... :( RR |
Lol . Maybe some folding steps. Aluminum or stainless with anti skid ??? Hmmm. Fold down almost flat. Bolt through side console wall. If I cant find it I can make it or modify something.

2 or 3 would work

Recessed might be easier

I'm liking your idea a lot more. I could reinforce the wall inside with nylon , lexan ,plastic or wood and put D shaped pocket steps in. Thank you sir
