I love old (assuming it is) boats like that and they do look kinda cool. Only drawback, they're pretty useless so unless you've got some space at home that needs to be filled, the 'cool factor' wears off quite quickly.

If it is aluminum it is probably a Feathercraft, My father had one in the late 50s early 60s
