Default Lake Michigan can be nice!

What an amazing weekend! Temps in the 80s and smooth water...not too often I can get a pic like this!

I think the last time lake Michigan was that flat - Eisenhower was in the White House.

Not really true - last year we were able to get out and it was glass. Wonderful

Take care and safe boating

Ive seen the lake flat like that numerous times....unfortunately never actually been out on a boat in water like that! LOL Seems there's always 3-footers or bigger rolling around when i get out there!

on a side note...if you guys like phone apps.....a buddy of mine told me about an app called "windy" he uses for flying....shows wind speeds and directions....also has the option of waves out on lake Michigan...i was looking at it this weekend while working around the house and it showed the lake to be flat....just didnt know it was like glass!

I also look at a couple websites before I head to the lake as Lake Michigan is 99% of the time where I boat...There is a couple webcams online if you search St Joseph lighthouse it gives you real time video of what the lake is doing...just a couple tricks as I don't have a rough water boat and every little bit helps!! hahaha

Lake Huron was the same way this weekend. Here’s a pic of my heartbroken nephew. Poor lil dude wanted to crush some big waves, but we couldn’t find any. Maybe next time, buddy.

East Bay, Lake Michigan at Traverse City calm, clear and Caribbean colored. Sorta warm.
