An AT misjudged and hit the Jetty. All are fine. As usual the alcohol apparently made people stupid.

Learn from it. Don't judge.

Good to read they're ok, just suffering from hangovers and damaged pride.
I wonder what the extent of the damage is to the boat? Sad to see a new(ish) Defiant on the rocks.

I'm going to gently disagree with the "Don't judge" part. At least in my judgement, if you're boating under the influence you're an idiot. And you're making a decision—one you have no right to make—that affects the safety of the people in your boat and others on the water.

Off the water. Hell, I'll meet you at the bar. First one is on me.

Well, I've read that the owner was NOT on the boat, and it was "borrowed" without permission. So yeah, there were a bunch of bad decisions.

As long as there is no puncture damage to the sides of the hull, it will be a pretty simple fix. Notice, I didn't say easy. I just said simple. The bottom of ATs are solid fiberglass, no coring.
As long as it's just fiberglass damage on the bottom, and the engines just need impellers, lowers, and props, it could be back on the water by 4th of July.
