250 PXS $21,450

300 PXS $24,965
It seems to me that these prices are impossible, since the 300 V8 Verado is more expensive than the 300 R racing? It has no logic
Nothing about this hobby has anything remotely close to logic attached to it from a $$$$$ perspective. That's why I have an 1989 hull and 1998 outboards.

Yeah, ‘86 hull and ‘17 outboard here. But when the alternative is a new 24’ hull, motor, and trailer in the upper five figures, a repower looks better and better.

The price list that I have of Mercury 2009, goes from July 7, 2009 to July 7, 2010, so I thought they always showed their prices in the month of July.
But, I find it very strange that if you publish prices in the month of April, still nobody has the official prices of Mercury Verado 300 V8 engines :confuso:

SM = sport master lowers
CL = counter rotation Long shaft

The MSRP prices I supplied earlier in this thread for the 250R and 300R came from Steve Miller, the director of sales, marketing and customer service at Mercury Racing. I think you can have confidence in them. Various options, as noted in that post, will add to the price.

I do not know what problem Mercury has with the price of the new Verado V8 300hp, because last year in these same dates they had published the prices ...

I have a new 300R with sportmaster coming in this Tuesday. I will test it on a new 21 Liberator. The boat ran 101 with a 300xs. liberatorpowerboats.com

can't wait for Wildman's performance assessment of the 300R SM lowers!

yes, the prices for the non-race costs less at Jacos Marine

The prices below are for DTS - digital throttle and shift

if you want analog non-DTS, the prices drop even more.
