Just Once, there is a sand bar in sandusky bay, away from the big water!
BTW, the Casino is hardly ever full on a Saturday, you must have been there on a holiday weekend or something. There is a lot beter chance of finding a dock on the weekend at Kelleys than PIB, we could always hop a ferry from Kelleys to PIB,

That way any of the smaller boats or cats wouldnt have to deal with the 6 ft cruiser and ferry wakes on Sat. We could always party all day at the sandbar and then fill and run a couple of the bigger boats over to Kellys for night fun. Actually, the Cedar Point side of the sandbar is rougher than the lake sometimes.

thrillseeker: sandusky sand bar is the one i an talking about thats why i said it would be good for all the people that don't want to go out on the lake.
and yes i know that pib gets much more crowded than kelley's but I've never seen either on a summer weekend where there would be room for a large group of us to dock.
I have to call casino back tomorow they sounded interested in maybe throwing an oso party. sounds like they may be willing to make some room for the publicity.

If you guys strike out with the Casino you might want to try the place back in the Harbours before the Radisson. Plenty of room, bar / restaurant, pool, lots of overnite slips and any small boats can put in and not have to leave the friendly confines of the bay. The name of the restaurant is "Olive or Twist" but the marina is the Harbour marina (under Hoty mngmt.) Sounds like a great idea and I think you'll get a great turnout as long as you don't confict with any other big events.
