I'd lean Arneson though nothing wrong with making it a SSM VI boat. SCX's you would need to do the lowers as well. I just don't see the Bravo gears in the SC lowers holding up on that big of a boat even with "only" 625 HP.

How hard is it to swap the props from spinning out to in? Different boat, but my 30 is about 3 mph faster turning in. Maybe a little setup and blueprinting gets you to low 90 range...

I was spinning in I think. I think on the bravo boats its as easy as switching the props one side to another and just try running forward with the sticks in reverse. I don't see why my bam transmissions would be any different but again I think I was already spinning in. I was told blue printing was not worth doing by the manufacturer.

The pic you posted above look at to be spinning out.

I don't believe there is a transmission out that you can do that to. Rotation is in the drives I believe.

Correct, they are already about as far back as they can go I'd imagine. Still hoping to get info on the arneson diesel boat. See what I can uncover today, hopefully have enough info to make a decision one way or another next week.

I'd swap the drives so the props are turning in and see what happens. If I understand this principle correctly spinning out will give you lift at the stern and push the bow down. Spinning in will pull the stern down and lift the bow. This might help you to get on the pad. It would be worth a try and wouldn't cost anything other than a couple hours of your own labor.
