Rocket & everyone else, you must have been reading my mind as I approached my office. As soon as I got in the parking lot, I heard the weather report (same as baha said) and was wishing my boat was still in the marina. Oh well, shoud be out of here around noon anyway:cool: .

Yeah Nick, the weather forecast this weekend is killing me.:( Months ago I made a commitment to go black powder hunting this weekend because it is usually cool and breezy this time of year.

I think this may be the year of the Beach Boys' "Endless Summer":)

Nick, there is an OPBA get together Saturday at Shell Island.

I am so feeling that way. My office is moving to a different location and so my internet and email will go down around 11 today and won't be back up till Tuesday. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO??????? I think I will start drinking right now. Without email, internet and OSO I and nothing. GRRRRRRRR

I know what you mean cowgirl...I dread days when our internet is down...what to do, what to do? ;)

That's right...I forgot all about that.

I sure hope the tide is high for their sake...I haven't frequented shell key in many months...It's simply too much of a pain in the ass and I'm sick of replacing impellors, sick of touching up my lower unit finish and I don't much care for having to make everyone get out and push!!! Shell key needs some serious dredging back there! :cool:

Where is shell key? I would like to start getting down that way soon. How is Shepards or Gators this time of year? Any other suggestions?

I attached a little chart. Shell Key is a fun place where almost anything goes! I love going there, It's just getting too shallow lately. :(

Sheppard's and Gator's is great anytime of year! Sheppard's doesn't have dockage, but they have a nice beach you can anchor off of and wade in...Gator's in right at the opening of John's pass and has good docks, just limited sometimes. :cool:

Yes, it does get shallow back there. I bumped bottom earlier this year with my 20 foot Formula. Of course it has LWP.:(

Looks like Debbie is going to end up going with my buddy Johno and his wife. They will be in his 24 Outlaw. Say hey to them if you see them, and make sure they're not having too much fun without me.:)
