ANYONE have bad ECM s or need to be tested
 

If anyone has bad marine ecm's or needs to be tested whom would like to see if they are fixable please let me know. I have been repairing about 50 to 60 percent of the ones that I have worked on. With that said I need to see and test more of all different apps plus adapt better methods. Currently I only have in MEFI 3 and PCM 555. Yes thats all I have to work on for marine computers currently. Would like to get one per week if all possible. I will discount the cost of the repair and or the tests from persons who responds to this post plus free shipping back to you.

Can you pull custom tunes off MEFI 3 and load it to a new ECU?

Yes I can but with that said I am still learning all of this and the repair end. I am gaining alot of ground as late cause I am heading into this end of it as well. This really is a tad over 3 year mark of ECM work . With time and more ecm s sent in comes experience, gaining knowledge and so forth. I will get there sooner than later. Hopefully. It really interests me so I will move forward hugely.

I have an PCM P/N: 840947T15 that got damaged when the IAC Valve got stuck, off an 2006 600SCi. Is that an candidate for your repair program?

Dean yes I can look at it and fix it and of course sometimes not all ecm s / pcm s can be fixed. - For being fixed I will know more when its opened up and tested. Some will call it the IAC driver and some will say H bridge as the IAC circuit is knocked out internally of the ECM / PCM . And believe it not sometimes there is other issues on top of more than just an IAC internally issue within the ecm.

You have PCM 555 for your 600 sci and depending on your serial number of the engine there is an current over protection issue with the OEM wiring that needs to be address or yours could have been already done by whomever ??. If not done IAC / PCM failures are hugely increased. I can provide all that info as well. I will need your engine serial number thou. Thanks. Send me that first your engine serial number and then I will address the PCM 555.

I have been monitoring the reasons why the 600 and 700 sci see more PCM failures than the norm for years now. There is updates that need to be performed on about 80 to 90 percent of the engines with these issues . And the updates does NOT include a 1 amp fuse. The 1 amp fuse is bandaid fix for the real reasons behind the failures because they are not known by whomever. There is reasons why they fail -- the PCM and IAC failures for these hp engines.

Also these failure follows the 525 hp and other hp engines as well.
