I have 3 daughters also10yo, 11yo, 11yo and a 15yo son. I feel your pain on the single engine thing. We dropped down to a v6 ski boat this year but did get to put 300+ hours on it over the Summer.

We see a lot of really nice boats on Lake Tahoe but this is the first Apache we have seen on the Lake.

From the website:

For the past hundred plus years Lake Tahoe has remained a popular summertime destination, although there’s plenty to do in the winter also. For the first half of the last century visitors were mainly from San Francisco. For the last 50 years, folks have traveled in from around the world. “That water is cold!” is many people’s first reaction when sticking a toe in the lake. It is mostly snowmelt, after all. The average surface temperature is 52°F, getting to a high of about 65°F by mid-July. But that doesn’t stop people from diving in and swimming and snorkeling and floating out on inflatables.

WOW after boating in Long island sound and the Connecticut river all my life, I forgot how clear water is, that lake is beautiful. I also have 3 daughters and Enjoy with your family because in a blink of an eye they grow up.

Water temp is much better in late summer, compared to spring time run-off. Diving down off the boat you can feel the water temp change pretty fast. Engine temp runs 110 with no thermostat and oil runs 190 max temps running all out across the lake.

TopSpin80 good looking family. We got a jet boat this year as we have some smaller lakes in the area and we have used that boat way more than our big offshore boat. I have to say it is a blast to drive too.
