I will be retiring soon and was told about Lake Tillery. I'm leaning towards South Carolina. I was also told about Lake Norman in North Carolina. But most listings for 300k or less is a Town House. A regular hse on that lake fetches 400k or better. Does anyone have info Lake Tillery? I think I will be able to get more bang for my buck There. I'm tired of these northern winters!
