Felpro Perma-Torque MLS 1075-041 will work fine and also does fine in light boosted applications.

Add a little question here, what do most find the cost to be for the basic valve spring service to be? Saying you pull engine/s, do valve job, replace valve springs , put engine/s back in boat, assume all is ok and they run. New rockers, lifters, etc excepted. How much did you spend?

Was your motor guy willing to take a stab at a ballpark number to do the job?

My old 525’s cost me about 11K for everything. I pulled the motors and reinstalled. New rockers, springs, lifters, valves, gaskets etc.

Appreciate the responses so far, but guys there has got to be a whole lot more info on these motors out there. These are one of the most sold Merc Racing engines ever.
