this post sounds like a cry for help. Dude 100 more hp. Who can’t use an extra hundred ponies out back smh.

You can reprogram the 400s to 450. No reason to swap engines.

I think it’s a different market. Price and weight are not even close. Have never seen th 7s on any fast cats

i wonder why. Weight wise it’s a lot less than a bbc trans and 6/8 or asd. Price isn’t too steep when looking at buying the afore mentioned stuff

The 7Marine engines do not have a lower unit designed for speeds over 80 MPH. Also, 7Marine does not have a dealer network even close to Merc so parts and service would be a nightmare.
