If weathers good anyone boating this weekend in the md area?

ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE IVE BEEN, I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.

We were hoping to, but with lows around 30 and highs in the low 40's, It will not happen. I'm not going to winterize yet because there will be some warm weather left.:D I'm thinking that I might need to break out a droplight for the bilge to keep it safe:mad: :mad:

I am tired of the cold weather keeping me on the dock.

I was thinking putting on some layers of clothes and going out anyway this weekend.

What sucks now is that it is dark at like 5 or 5:30.

mark im with you, a few more clothes wont hurt anybody. I boated until the 2nd week in december last year and plan on going that long again.

Brett, the weather was crazy last year. 80deg days in Nov. I was out there too until December.

I'm planning on running in the James this weekend. Went last Sunday and had not 1 but 2 dead batteries. Have 2 new one and ready to go. Does that droplight in the bilge really work when it's in the low 30's? I hate to pump in the pink stuff only to drain it out in a week when we arm up again.

Yohster, now you know me and going out in the boat. I was planning on going out if it was just me by myself.

I start 11-7 so i will catch like prob two hours of zees, if not any and put the boat in. I have off tues and wed now, well i get off tues morning at 7 and not back till 11 thurs night. Are you still on midnights.

Sunday? Sandy point to Kent Narrows for a bit? I don't feel like trailering much farther.

Hey Ted I blew out a external steering cylinder on the starboard side. I need to call Latham Marine to find out what I can do about this. I dont know if I can rebuild them or just get a new one. Oh well either way I am sure its not going to be cheap so I am going to wait for a while and save some money. Good Luck looking at that boat if you go!

HA HA :p :p I will be boating in Florida by Thursday , Just winterized my SONIC tonight, What a lot of work , 3 motors,2 sinks, 2 showers, 1 genarator and 1 head. Im DONE:(

Well looks like another wash out(rain) on a weekend that i wanted to go boating, but im not winterizing yet.

I was thinking about going out this afternoon after work but decided it was just too damn hot! 90 degrees today in downtown Odessa. Can't wait until it cools down into the 70's in December. That when the boating is at its best.

The boat did great this year. The Bronson Hill props got me a speed of 78+ on GPS and it's still problem free.

Next year I wouldn't mind going on one of your CBPBA runs. The only problem is that I don't have a crew. Tanith now works in law enforcement so she works every weekend. I was solo 95% of the time this summer. Only put 35 hours on it all summer as a result.

Mark Lins and I are in If you wanna come pick us up. Let me know. Also check out this ad for some motors for the Velocity. The boat with these would be bad ass.

Also if you need someone to put some hours on it for you I think I can take care of that:D FYI I might go back to Point Patience and work there for a couple of years. The new guy has been let go and they are looking for someone that knows what they are doing. I emailed Lee a couple of days ago and I am waiting to here back.
