You sir are an icon on this site, how we all looked forward to the next adventure of Bobthebuilder.

Had a Sea Ray Pachanga myself back in the day.

Bought my ‘97 Baja 272 Islander late 2013 and all internet traffic for answers pointed to OSO, so here I am. Everyone has been pretty gracious answering my complete newb questions and a huge thanks for that.

Im really impressed with the quality that many started out with for a first boat.

I'm relatively new here but when I joined, I owned this.....

Modified it slightly to this.....

More importantly, it was research on OSO (and another forum about CC's) prior to joining, that helped me make the decision to buy the Fountain. I was running a cruiser and wanted to go faster and smaller but still carry a few friends.

OSO was also my friend when I was looking for my current ride and I'm already reading here thinking about my next boat.
Thanks OSO

RR

Had surfed OSO for a couple of years and bought a 1981 Schiada 20 SS shortly before I officially joined. Do spend time on other Forums too, but OSO is the only truly International Forum i.m.h.o., which is great. Just sold my lake boats and bought the 1990 Larry Smith Team Scarab 31 a couple of years ago. Hate wrenching so have a tendency to buy boats built for egg-beaters.

Joined in 2011 or 2012? First boat was a 1989 Formula 242ls, then a 1990 Scarab Excel 31', then a 1996 Scarab 31 kevlar School-Boat (#2), now my 2002 Warlock World Class 29'. Takes a few boats to learn what you like and don't like, and I think the Warlock is staying for good

First boat, 1989 Formula 242ls
