There was also a similar meeting back in the 90's at the Miami show that Poker Runs America organized not that it matters.
The fact remains there needs to more of these so we can keep the sport going without having regulations put in place by the authorities and the insurance providers. It's great to see these organizers taking steps to ensure the sport can continue.
I was involved for many years as a sponsor representative / participant and now as a Insurance provider and I applaud these organizers for stepping forward to share their thoughts to help improve the sport.
