The figure I heard was $8m for Race Week.
That is a huge number for a town the size of Key West.
I’m sure there are Key West business owners that would not survive if it weren’t for Race Week support.

We stayed on the "gay side" of town near the southern most point. Went to a lot of bars there and many had owners that were cool and hanging out. They all said that this week year after year is their best week of the year.

Even went to the drag show with a HUGE group on Friday night and the performers said these are the biggest tips they have seen all year long for a single night.

Good times and great to see everyone. I just looked at the pedometer on my phone and I took over 86,000 steps on that trip and brought the wrong shoes

I was hoping I'd get to met you but you and Tank stay up too damn late for me. I have to have my beauty rest.

We’re already planning next year.
Saw you coming in and out all the time at Key West Bight but could never see if you were slipped there or at Garrison. Saw you pulling out of Garrison Monday morning on my run. Would have stopped and said hi had I ever saw you tied up but like I said, the Tiger was always on the move!
