Doesn't look like we are going to come to terms on my trade in unfortunately...I understand they have to make money but considering I just dumped 10k into my Nordic which I knew I would take a hit on that part but an additional 10k hit on top of what I owe I don't think I'm willing to accept....sucks :(
I would call WIA insurance and see what they can do to help you 816-808-8339 or Devin at Wozencraft 949-254-4555 |
hahaha I was wondering if you were going to see this...trust me I hope we aren't done yet!! gonna see what magic I can work out on my end....maybe by then you'll grace me with a little higher number lol...just kidding with you...trust me I understand where you're at on it!!
As a side note...anybody in the market...CALL ED!!! great guy and is doing all he can for me to make this deal!! |
No offense to anyone on this thread...but trade-ins very rarely make sense financially. To me it’s a convenience factor...see a good deal, wanna dump the boat and don’t care about losing a few dollars along the way. If you are surprised by the number...you shouldn’t be. In the end dealers take the risk. Right, wrong, or indifferent. Wanna get decent money for your boat...sell it privately. then again, I’m not saying anything people don’t already know... |
Yes I know that...but to me 11k is not just a “little along the way” I get what you’re saying and I already mentioned that earlier in the thread...I get that their offer was lower than I could sell it for outright but I wasn’t expecting that low...but it is what it is...they are a business and have to make money I get that...not upset about it at all...is what it is...do I want the cig?? Yea of course or I wouldn’t be in this position...am I gonna go upside down on my trade to make it happen?? Not 11k worth...Eddie did what he could and we couldn’t get numbers to work....that’s the nature of business...it happens...I get what I think you’re saying and yes I was willing to lose some on my trade to make the deal happen but not that much...financially it just doesn’t make sense...if we can come to some kind of middle ground on the numbers to make it work then great I’m 100% all in but I have a budget to work with clearly or I would be looking at a 100,000 dollar cig and not care about the 11k but unfortunately I’m not in that kind of position....thanks for your input tho!! |

I remmeber buying my top gun. Same predicament you are in. Fortunately the guy was more than fair in trade value and we settled on numbers. Good luck!!! |
I realize now my post could have been taken the wrong way...didn’t mean to sound sh!tty....sorry if it came across that way man....been working a lot lately kinda edgy hahaha |
I look at that boat and all I see is you with 50 gallon drums full of cash just pouring it in the boat.
Been there done that , still doing it. |
Hahaha meaning what?? Find a better one?? Don’t we do that with every boat lol Honestly looking for opinions...my plans would be... this winter.... clean up wiring in engine room room which is a disaster redo dash panel to white using current gauges and new switches/panels repaint all the black on the dash to white making a more modern look while keeping the timeless shape of the dash redo stereo replace all lighting with LEDS next couple years.... redo interior to better suit my tastes redo exterior with either paint or a wrap verify health of power and upsize blowers I figured this is a good base with expensive and durable mechanicals...I have looked at a few that were a little more but had less power with either bravo or trs drives which I don’t want either....realistically like I said it seems like a reasonably priced mechanical base that’s useable until I can change cosmetics....am I wrong?? Honestly asking lol clearly you you and others have been down this road and I’m honestly asking for opinions |

fair enough...I've just seen claims of 4-5 MPH out of the notch...I can do the work if I had some measurements to go off of...not a big deal was just curious more than anything...waiting for the bank and them to open to see if I can put this deal together :santa:
My buddy thinks I'm an idiot for trying to get rid of my 80+ MPH heat to go into a 70 MPH cig...I would like to boat in something more than 2's and not get the sh!t beat out of me lol anyone else have any opinions on that matter?? just for open discussion?? First, once your buddy runs 60 through true 4's he'll forget about the 80 on flat water. Second, I went from a Heat to a PowerPlay, the offshore boats are a whole different world, no comparison...not even close. The Heat is a lake boat and that's it, ok if you're running it around smaller bodies of water or lakes (which is where it's made) but if you're running Lake Michigan it's not the right boat. Have fun in the chop!! |
You will be way more than 10k upside down if you start redoing a Cig. WaY more lol
But it does have a 1 on the side :poopoo: |
