AEM Display
Anyone try using one of these yet? I am replacing my dash and gauges this winter thinking of using the AEM display and the 22 channel can sensor.

Being old and challenged, WTF is a 22 channel can sensor? And as a multi Fountain owner how does it make your boat perform better?
I ask only because the engines are currently out of the Biotch for a spiff up, and we have considered a little upgrade. Hence the question about the can sensor power adder.

CAN for most marine OEMs started in 2001 for MPI engines.
The AEM unit is also for EFI / MPI and carb engines.
The most common user and seller for AEM products by far on the marine side is Boostpower aka Alexi S. I would buy from him and that would get you all the know how needed for questions and installs. I am sure it would be really hard buying online to get tech help after fact. Just saying.

I’ve looked at those and thought about redoing my dash with one. For a new build, I wouldn’t even bother with analog gauges, I’d use these. If you’re upgrading your dash anyway, I’d say go for it!

I'm running the AEM CD-7 dash with logger and vehicle dynamics module in my boat. Also running the AEM Infinity ECM's. Alexi at Boostpower built my engines and is providing everything. He actually worked with AEM on the R&D of their marine products.
AEM makes an adapter that will allow you to plug in one of their ECM's in directly to a MEFI wiring harness. Makes upgrading to a modern engine management system a snap.
