The side hole is for the exhaust. This is one of 3 Donzi 43 ZR's with triple 700's. There is a blue one at LOTO and we have the other one. Ours and the blue one have the 2 forward engines/ 1 aft. This broken one was reversed, like the triple 525 powered boats with 2 aft/ 1 forward. Donzi figured out the COG was better with 2 forward, which is why the 2nd and 3rd are different.
