There`s no alternative correct? The powdercoating chrome doen`t look so nice that I`ve seen.
Not sure if they were not done correctly (probably not like everything else) but these pieces were peeling and bubbling after a year.
I`d rather not pay an arm and a leg for chrome only to have it peel again shortly.

My other option may be to polish and clearcoat .

I've used this shop in St Louis to chrome my Thru-Hull fittings, the price was fair with quality work.

I've done some 2 stage powder chrome here at the shop, you wont like it, Ive also done some black chrome and it looks killer

no real alternative thats very durable or UV stable. If those are zinc cast there will be no polishing and clear coating them either.

i paid almost 5k for the front and rear bumpers on a 72 buick. perfect and worth it. custom chrome in ohio.

Burnt down but they have a new facility that they are getting ready. So don't know if be reasonable turn around.
