OK, now I found the thread. (behind my fathers place, taken today) Hollywood FLA

A few of the OB’s seem like their almost underwater. Maybe it’s the angle of the boat and picture. |
Cool hull, not a fan of these monster stacks of engines. |
Looks great!..... till you get to the transom.

I like it front to back, damn nice work!

Don't most of the big Cigarette get sold in Europe lately? I'd think it's more of a diesel market there vs. outboard.

I have a real question, how would you control or stop a single motor of the group from over revving? Boats rock and roll. I can see one of the outside motors coming out of the water... a lot. What do you do when you make a turn at speed? If you turn to port the starboard side of the transom is going to lift. The harder you turn the higher it goes. I mean a group in the middle of the transom is one thing, on the very outside....I don't get it.

You hit the nail on the head, try to put the tabs down to stick the nose on rough water or even to run a a slow speed, outside props start cavitating, same in rough seas. Obviously money is not an issue this would be a much nicer boat with 4 627's. Or a pair of 1100 Mercs.

Bravo! I find the name Tirranna very apt for this impressive craft. Guess it means "running waters" in an Australian aboriginal language. People with the coin to buy this sextuple motored yacht are maybe educated enough to know about the renowned house, famously designed by celebrated architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The computer-generated imagery video is both spectacular, unique and cutting edge. Always fun when market leaders dare to break new ground on all levels. Here's a company that does almost everything right, so I got to ask, WHY 50th? Now, let's see if the Cigarette Racing Team brass, got the brass balls, it at this stage takes, to admit that 2019 is the year for the Cigarette Racing Team company to celebrate its 49th anniversary, not its 50th? Heck, they might even sell some boats here on 'The Left Coast' if they did a 49th Anniversary Edition for us. We can't really relate to what used to be our Scarab boats anymore and the truth is that we are fond of the number 49. ;)
