Who Has The Best Deal on CMI's?
Who's got the best deal on CMI's. I am looking to buy a set for my boat and need some to ask questions about them and then purchase. Any comments or prior experience is appreciated.

I'm looking for CMIs also---2 sets---and I've heard that Teague has the best deal so far. Something like 1999.99 for elbow tops. We should see if we can get some sort of deal or group purchase going...

Last year I got mine from Rex Marine. I do not remember why because everyone I called had same price & they were shipped from factory direct. Need toverfiy that that price includes the tails. If that is price with tail, then you got a good price. I paid more that that for the elbo tops with tails a year ago.

If that price includes the tails, I'm in! I would need wet and perhaps slightly custom tail pipes since I am not willing to relocate the outlet location. Of course, I would expect to pay some extra for custom tails if necessary. PM me if you put something together and thanks in advance for the effort. --- Jer

RJ,
I'd be interested too. I checked last year with Teague, Rex, and CMI directly. I'll dig up the info tonight. There are some issues with Fountain's tailpipes I believe. CMI was talking about special tailpipes being necessary due to the transom cutout dims. I also wanted to go with CMI's special tailpipes with the Teague switchables to retail the silent choice. The Corsa units (I think you have these on your boat also) won't work with the CMI's. CMI have their own silent choice but you need to install an air compressor for the solenoids (they're not electric like the Corsa units). This way you can get rid of the wishbone and it's a cleaner setup.
