Ive heard stories about it in the past......dont know how true they were but he was supposidly the fastest boat around here back in the day......guess one of the first around here in the triple digits....but thats only what i've heard...dont know how true comeing from second and third parties...

I saw the boat up close a few years ago and the boat is very circa '70's, meaning it looks older than 1979 and was in less than tip-top shape.

The wiring and rigging left something to be desired. If you look closely at some of the photos, against the transom you can see loose and hanging wires, stock thermostat housings, and rubber cooling hoses on supposed big motors, that kind of thing.

It's no doubt a tough looking head turner, but it immediately strikes you as very dated and less than professionally maintained mechanically. I didn't get to dig into it very deep, so I can't vouch for the structural aspects.

That said, if it went down another $10-15G, and with a fair mount of elbow grease and rework, she could be a real gem.
