Default Buying a boat with a Reman 502?

Looking at a '98 Sonic 26 Prowler with a Reman 502 Mercruiser that was installed 20 hours ago. I will be coming out of a bass boat so new to this type of boat and was wondering what to look for.

I know the basics of what a reman Mercruiser engine is, but should I be asking for an engine scan? What else should I be looking for besides a compression/ leak down test?

The boat has a Bravo drive and hull has 540 original hours, what maintenance should I be looking for regarding this drive?.

Thank you for any help!

Best thing to do is have it surveyed by a SAM's certified surveyor......and dont buy it without a sea trial
