Clay,

It sounds like you need to check out my 27 Progression. It will run above 80 anytime with a bone stock 500hp. Check out www.liopa.com under boats for sale.

Easy Big Mike, Just a little friendly banter between Gordo and I

As far as a F-1/F-2 boats with light lay ups and no cabins the weight is often made up with the additional stringers/bulkheads etc etc and they all have to weigh a minium weight specified by APBA. Regardless of lay up.

You inspected my F-1 32' Sunsation in St.Clair MI

Question of the day: What made F1-29 "SPECIAL"?

A 5000 LB 29' V-bottom with a single 100% "stock" HP500 does NOT run 90+MPH

89.6MPH was the 2-way avg speed the first pass from what I remember was close to 91MPH

If some people were more honest there would be no need for CRE

No offense taken Mike, I just did't know if you knew that Gordo and I are friends

Hopefully someday somebody will grow some balls and let the cat outta the bag and tell the real story.

Clay -- The Velocity 280 is a good choice. Mine definitely has more cabin room than several of my friends boats of comparable size (Outlaw, Sunsation, Fountain).

Padraig -- Hold off on that 32 until you see what Stepp has in mind for the planned 35. Sounds like it will be worth the wait.

Well I don't know about the "best" ever... But I think the 28' stepped DDS bottom, Challenger Offshore is pretty good.
