My crack about the spring clothes at Walmart was sincere.
Before we moved to Fla I really struggled w/the Ohio fall/winter climate.
The cold and snow I could handle.

The wks on end w/no sun I could not.
Daylight savings time made it unbearable.
Get up for work it’s dark outside.
Get off work it’s dark outside.
Ugh.

A buddy from Miami used to regularly visit family in Columbus.
When I had the Fla move locked in he visited and told me he could tell when they were flying over Ohio because when you looked down everything was gray and dead.
No snow, just gray and dead.

I remimber one of our first visits back to Ohio during winter, we stayed 7 days and only saw the sun on one!

So back before the move, I shopped at a local Meijers store and I kept track of when they put their marine supplies back on the shelves.
That was a sign that I’d survived one more ****ty Ohio winter 😉🌴🐊

That does look fun, as a kid growing up in N Indiana I built a ice boat model once to play with on the lakes. Never rode in a full size one.
